Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek said Turkey and Germany was set to sign a new prevention of double taxation deal, Anadolu Agency reported.
Simsek told reporters following a meeting with his German counterpart Wolfgang Schaeuble that the new deal was foreseen to enter into force before 2011.
He said Germany had unilaterally cancelled the existing deal, adding that the new deal would be signed in Turkey once the documents were ready.
Simsek also said Turkey would host this year's Global Economic Symposium organised by the Kiel Institute in Istanbul on September 28 and 29.
He said Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan invited German Chancellor Angela Merkel and President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barosso to the event.
