Under the 35th annual congress of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), the Islamic Corporation for Private Sector Development (ICD) held the meeting on preparing of a roadmap on trade with the OIC in Baku June 21-22.
ICD holds meeting to prepare roadmap on trade with OIC countries

Under the 35th annual congress of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), the Islamic Corporation for Private Sector Development (ICD) held the meeting on preparing of a roadmap on trade with the OIC in Baku June 21-22.

The event was held under chairmanship of Azerbaijani Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev and with the participation of IDB President Ahmad Muhammad Ali.

The purpose of the meeting is discussion of increasing rationality of the roadmap for the expansion of trade among the OIC countries.

The main objectives of the Roadmap are to finance and develop trade, as well as develop and increase the number of strategic products of the OIC countries.

Speaking at the meeting, Mustafayev noted the importance of expanding trade among the OIC countries. He said enhancing cooperation with the OIC countries is a priority for Azerbaijan in the sphere of foreign trade relations.

Mohammed Ali spoke about the work done in the development and support of intra-OIC trade. He said that no country can achieve successful development without expanding trade ties.
