The World Bank plans to present its new country manager to the Azerbaijani government in August, the WB Baku office reported.
The bank has already identified a candidate for the post, but refused to name his name before the formal presentation.
"We are selecting a new manager as WB Baku Office head Gregory Jedzejczak's term will expire in August," a WB source reported.
A country manager's term lasts three years, but may be extended for a fourth year.
Jedzejczak is currently serving his fourth year in Azerbaijan.
