The Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance announced results of operations for January-June of the top ten insurance companies. About 78.8 percent of the total insurance charges, and 82.44 percent of total payments fall to them. About 27 insurance companies operated in Azerbaijan that period [without the insurance company Gunay Sigorta, the license is suspended] and one reinsurance company.

Total premiums for all companies operating in the country is 76.88 million manat.
Total premiums for the year decreased by 3.76 percent (79.89 million manat), payments declined by 8.76 percent (24.56 million manat).
The report of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance in January-June has not indicated the results of the only reinsurance company Az RE.
