Azerbaijan, Baku, July 23 / Trend /

Passivity was observed on the automotive market of Baku in June, public organization "Property Market Participants" said.

The trend of passivity on the automotive market of Baku intensified over the last four months due to growth of proposals, deepening the negativity in the dynamics of bargaining and impact on the prices, the report said.

Proposals decreased in June on the secondary car market. However, despite this, the excess of actual demand continued. The dynamics of bargaining reduced by 1.2 percent due to the reduction in the number of appeals on the market.

The average price of a car in May amounted to $15,380 as in April.

Passivity also influenced the growth period of the exhibition of cars. It led to an increase in the level of risk. The liquidity ratio of automobile market in June reached its lowest level for three years.

More than 6,600 vehicles were proposed. About 39.4 percent were offered in May.

The share of cars Deutschmark Mercedes-Benz, which is a leader on the automotive market of Baku for three years, in June reduced by 7.1 percent up to 38.1 percent of the total portfolio market.
