The Azerbaijani Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology under the Ministry of Health jointly with representatives of local executive authorities, as well as the police carried out raids in canteens situated in Agsu and Shamakhi regions. They revealed grave violations of sanitary norms and regulations, the Ministry said.
About 18 canteens were closed in Agsu region, nine - in Shamakhi.
Administrative sanctions were imposed towards two businessmen in Agsu region and three - in Shamakhi.
The Azerbaijani Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology assumes the function of monitoring to take measures to liquidate negative facts.
