During the first four months of the Iranian calendar year (started March 21) cement factories in Iran produced nearly 20 million tons which is 16 percent more than the same period the year before.
IRNA news agency stated that in the month of Tir (June 22-July 21) plants produced 5.2 million tons of cement showing about 12 percent rise compared to last year.
During this period 19 million tons of clinker was produced in the country that is 17 percent more than the previous time span.
