A loan agreement on the reconstruction of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Transport Corridor will be signed between the Kazakh and Japanese governments in the Zhambyl region within the Japanese Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada's official visit to Astana, the Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry spokesman Ilyas Omarov said today.
"Tomorrow a loan agreement on the reconstruction of the CAREC Transport Corridor will be signed between the Kazakh and Japanese governments within the Japanese Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada's official visit," Omarov said.
He said Okada arrived in Astana with two-day visit.
"Today the Secretary of State, Kazakh Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev will hold talks with the Japanese Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada, initially tête-a-tête, and then in extended format," Omarov said.
He said, Okada will meet with the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Prime Minister Karim Masimov Aug.10.
