The Azerbaijani Chamber of Accounts discussed the results of an audit of the State Oil Fund of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOFAZ) at a board meeting this week. The audit aimed to ensure the effective management and use of SOFAZ funds.
The board also discussed reports and reviews on compliance with tax law, present and future budget fund use by the Melioration and Water Management company, and a recent audit of the State Social Protection Fund's Gazakh Branch.
The board also approved programs to audit budgetary funds at the Nizami District Executive Power, loans attracted under a state guarantee by the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry, and funds used to maintain the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents.
