The Azerbaijani Transport Ministry will take part in the regular meeting of the TRACECA intergovernmental commission's permanent secretariat to be held in Kiev Sept.3, the ministry reported.
The Ministry's International Relations Department International Projects and TRACECA Project Sector Director will represent the ministry at the event.
The meeting will focus on preparations for the first investment forum TRACECA, which will be held in Brussels Oct.12 and the eighth annual conference of the intergovernmental commission, which will be held Oct.13. The project on construction of an international logistics center in the international commercial port, which will be built in villages Alat Baku, will also be mulled at the event.
TRACECA member-states are Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Moldova, Romania, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Ukraine and Iran.
