"I hope we can strengthen our relations in all areas," Mohammad Reza Fayyaz told the Mehr News Agency. Fayyaz said during his tenure as ambassador he will do his best to increase Iran's trade ties with the UAE more than before. Iran and the UAE as two oil-rich countries in the region are expected to increase their cooperation in the energy sector, he suggested. Asked about the effect of sanctions on Iran's economic ties with the UAE, he said, "Our bilateral relations are good and (we) try to make it better." He also advised the media outlets not to be influenced by those who are trying to undermine the amicable relations between the two countries. |
