About 430 kilograms of expired products revealed in Azerbaijan

The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry revealed and destroyed 430 kilograms of expired products during the regular monitoring of the consumer market, the ministry said.

The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry revealed and destroyed 430 kilograms of expired products during the regular monitoring of the consumer market, the ministry said.

Monitoring was conducted in the Binagadi, Nizami, Khatai and Surakhani districts of Baku, as well as Lankaran, Zardab, Agjabadi, Balakan and Tartar regions.

Expired products - sausage, pastry, butter, milk and dairy products, canned foods, soft drinks, fish and seafood, beer and baby food were confiscated in shops.

Administrative measures will be applied towards legal and physical entities.
