IRNA News Agency quoted the Iranian Roads and Transportation Minister Hamid Behbahani as saying that, "Some 4099 transportation projects have been implemented at the cost of over $2.8 billion." According to Behbahani 3963 rail and 41 airport projects are complete and will come on stream in coming days. Some 400 industrial and mineral projects have also been implemented at the cost of $2.6 billion. These projects will create 18,661 direct jobs in 30 provinces. |
