British company invests 50 million euro in Batumi

The British company Hestok Limited has launched the construction of an entertainment center on Peria Hill near the Black Sea resort of Batumi. The company plans to connect the entertainment center to Batumi by cable car.

According to the preliminary calculations, the construction work will cost 50 million euros.

Hestok's subsidiary Hestok Batumi purchased 16 hectares of land on Peria Hill for a nominal price in 2009. Construction work should be complete by 2012 in accordance with a signed agreement.

Hestok is also undertaking a second project in Batumi, worth 90 million euros, which envisages the construction of a 23-story 250-room Hilton hotel complex to be completed in 2012.
