Brussels to consider contamination of Black and Caspian Seas

A transport project funded by the Council of Europe to develop a common security management system and cooperation in the field of maritime safety and ships, prevent contamination of the Black and Caspian Seas (SASEPOL) will hold a meeting in Brussels, a statement said.
The meeting will take place within TRACECA project (Europe-Caucasus-Asia).
According to the report, a meeting is to be held on September 28-29.
The reports and statements relating to the EU policy on maritime safety and security will be heard on the first day of the meeting. The other issues will be discussed.
A meeting of the committee will be held on the second day of the meeting. Such initiatives as CaspEko and MONINFO projects (a part of the Black Sea Initiative) will be presented.
TRACECA member-states are Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Moldova, Romania, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Iran.
