Tbilisi republican hospital transferred to Canadian company

One of the Georgian largest clinics - the Tbilisi Republican Hospital is likely to join the 'Interhealth Canada' company, Hospital's General Director Irakli Rukhadze told the Kommersant radio.

He said the Canadian company presented good conditions, including in the area of improving services and technologies, and is ready to make further investment in it.

The hospital's staff is waiting for the Georgian government's agreement with the investor.

The Georgian Economy and Sustainable Development Ministry planned to sale the Republican Hospital for $12 million in February.

The foreign investors - the British company Medi-lynx has recently joined the management of the Gudushauri clinic. The investor plans to invest $ 25 million in it.
