More than 19 banks operating in the Georgia posted August profits, the National Bank of Georgia said.
The total net profit earned by 11 commercial banks is 71.640 million lari ($ 1 = 1.81 lari).
The five most profitable banks in Georgia include the Bank of Georgia, TBC, Kartu, Procreditbank and Liberty Bank.
Bazisbank, Constanta, Investbank and other banks also made profits during the month.
