Azerbaijani bank’s loan portfolio increases by over 35 percent within year

Azerbaijani Turan Bank's assets for three quarters of 2010 amounted to 127.5 million manat increasing by 25.8 percent compared to the same period of 2009, by 16 percent compared to early 2010, the bank said today.

The bank's loan portfolio hit 95.5 million manat as of Oct.1, which is 35.6 percent more compared to the current year and 22.5 percent more compared to 22.5 percent. The bank's incomes hit 11.3 million manat increasing by 28.4 percent within a year.

The banks' deposit portfolio increased by 53.8 percent compared to the last year, and for three quarters of this year - by 25.7 percent totaling $45.4 million manat. Population's long-term deposits amounted to 28.9 million manat increasing by 228.3 percent compared to early 2010 and 60.9 percent within a year.

The bank's aggregate capital makes 22 million manat as of Oct.1 increasing by 8.1 percent compared to early 2010 and 8.3 percent within a year, while the authorized capital - 18.5 million manat.

The bank has 25 shareholders, including five legal entities (21.65 percent) and 20 individuals (78.35 percent). Presently, there are 11 bank branches and 21 exchange places in the country.

Official exchange rate is 0.8018 manat to $1 Oct.13.
