Azerbaijan ranks six in the list of importers of Georgian wine. The Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development told Trend that about 149 tons of Georgian wine worth $555.100 was exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in January-August 2010.
During this period, Georgia exported about 7.329.9 tons of wine worth $ 23.143.4 to more than 37 world countries.
The largest volume of wine exports fall to Ukraine. During this period about 3.948.6 tons of wine worth $ 11.948.6 were exported. Kazakhstan ranks second. Over 984.2 tons of wine worth $ 3.513.6 were exported there. Belarus ranks third. Over 637.7 tons of Georgian wine worth $ 2.237.5 were exported there.
Over 335 tons of wine worth $ 1.061.9 were exported to Poland. Latvia imports 284 tons ($943,000), Lithuania - 234 tons ($775.500), U.S - 132.7 tons ($530,000), Moldova - 10 tons ($362.400).
Germany ranks tenth with 79.2 tons to the amount of $327.800.
