The Azerbaijani State Committee on Property and the Korean Ministry of Finance and Strategy signed a memorandum of understanding to manage state property, the State Committee said.

It was signed during a visit of a delegation headed by Korean Deputy Minister of Finance and Strategy Gyoung Ko to Baku.

The agreement was reached to prepare the action plan to implement the provisions of the memorandum.

Kerem Hasanov, chairman of the Azerbaijani State Committee on Property, said that the State Committee attaches great importance to international cooperation. It considers necessary to use international experience to increase the efficiency of its activity.

Korean Deputy Minister said that the friendly relations between the two countries are developing. Gyoung Ko spoke about the privatization process in Korea and the characteristics of state property management in the country.

During the meeting they discussed such issues as cooperation in the management of state property, mutual visits and exchange of information.
