South Korean companies hold business talks in Turkmenistan

South Korean companies, including Hyundai, Samsung, LG, Daewoo, hold business talks in Turkmenistan, the official Turkmen sources reported on Thursday.
Meetings with partners from government agencies and enterprises of Turkmenistan were conducted within a joint business forum in Ashgabat. The delegation from Seoul was headed by the Minister of Economic Studies Choi Kyung-hwan, who was received by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

At the same time, a joint meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade-economic and scientific-technological cooperation was conducted in the Turkmen capital.

A senior Korean official handed over to Berdimuhamedov a written message and greetings from South Korean President Lee Myung-bak, addressed to the Turkmen leader and the people of Turkmenistan wishes for peace and prosperity."

The national TV channel Altyn Asyr reported on Thursday, Hwan said that Turkmenistan "has created all conditions for successful investment activity."
