Georgia and Turkey will introduce a system of multiple entry and exit of trucks, to be used in 2011, to further develop trade and economic relations, a statement, posted on the official website of the Georgian Integrated Transport Authority, said. The parties agreed about it after the meeting of joint Georgian-Turkish commission for road transport, held in Ankara.
According to the report, each permit will be issued for one year.
The parties also agreed to exchange the following number of permits: a multiple entry permit (two-way / transit, with the right of entry without cargo) - 10,000, one-time permission (two-way / transit, with the right of entry without cargo) - 2,000; permission from third countries (with the right of entry without cargo) - 1,000.
Additional permits can be considered in case of necessity.
