Iran increases red ink of foreign trade turnover

The red ink of Iran's foreign trade (excluding export of oil products) amounted to $17.338 billion for the six months of the year (a year starts in Iran on March 21), Isna agency reported.

The foreign trade turnover increased by more than $3 billion compared to the same period of last year.

The export of non-oil products hit $12.231 billion, import - $ 29.569 billion in Iran in the first half of this year.

The import of non-oil and gas production amounted to $23.668 billion in Iran for the first half of last year. The export of non-oil and gas production hit $8.978 billion. Thus, the trade balance for the six months of last year amounted to $14.69 billion.
