None of residential buildings in Azerbaijan will be commissioned without a thorough inspection, Fakhraddin Sadigov, Deputy Chief of the State Agency on Construction Safety Control under the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

"Hundreds of cases of violation of safety regulations during construction of residential buildings in Azerbaijan were prevented, but none of residential buildings in Azerbaijan is put into operation without a thorough inspection," Sadigov said.

He said meanwhile some violations were uncovered after commissioning the buildings.

"There are violations due to incorrect accounts of unprofessional designers and geologists, unprofessional work of workers," Sadigov said.

However, he said there was no need for demolition already finished building after revealing violations.

"When fulfilling our responsibilities for ensuring security, in case of necessity to demolish already built building, of course, we'll do it" Sadigov said.

According to him, wrong selection of construction materials and areas for construction in regions led to bad consequences.

"The Ministry of Emergency Situations makes every effort to resolve such issues," Sadigov stressed.

Also, he said, there are violations in the manufacture of construction materials.

"It's mostly underground production of cement and bricks. But such cases are prevented," Sadigov said.
