A total area of residential buildings put into operation in Azerbaijan in January-September amounted to 1,075.2 square meters, or 28.4 percent more than the same period of last year, the State Statistics Committee said.
Over 3.101 billion manat was invested in the construction of production facilities, or 32.3 percent more than in January-September 2009, 3.056 billion manat - in the construction of facilities in the service sector or 1.9 percent less than during the same period of last year.
The total investments in main capital during this period amounted to 6.157 billion manat or 15.2 percent more per year. The costs for building and construction work amounted to 4.077 billion manat, or 6.6 percent more than in the first nine months of 2009.
