Azerbaijani insurance company's premiums fall to voluntary medical insurance

The Azerbaijani Insurance Company A-Qroup collected insurance premiums amounting to 5.47 million manat within three quarters of 2010, a statement posted on the website of the company said. About 91.23 percent of fees, or 4.99 million manat fell to voluntary medical insurance. There was also substantial growth in premiums for mortgage insurance.

The Azerbaijani Insurance Company A-Qroup collected insurance premiums amounting to 5.47 million manat within three quarters of 2010, a statement posted on the website of the company said. About 91.23 percent of fees, or 4.99 million manat fell to voluntary medical insurance. There was also substantial growth in premiums for mortgage insurance.

The payments the company hit 4.37 million manat in January-September.

The authorized capital of A-Qroup insurance company is 2,650,500 manat. The company  was established in 1995. It renders services on three types of obligatory and 14 types of voluntary insurance.

On Oct. 25, the official exchange rate is 0,8009 manat to $1.
