In September, prices for agricultural products in Azerbaijan decreased by 0.5 percent. Prices increased by 2.8 percent compared the same period of 2009, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said.
Production prices for vegetables, watermelons and root crops decreased by 1.1 percent, citrus plants - decreased by 0.7 percent, crops and legumes - 1.7 percent, fiber plant - 6 percent, tropical and subtropical fruits - 0.8 percent.
Production prices for big cattle and its products decreased by 1.7 percent, sheep and goat, their milk and hair by 0.7 percent, domestic poultry and eggs - 2 percent.
During this period fish and fish products increased in price by 1.8 percent, forestry products by 0.1 percent.
