GDP growth rate reached 4.1 percent in Azerbaijan in January-September 2010, making up to 29.3 billion manat, Arif Veliyev, Chairman of the State Statistics Committee, said at a press conference today.
"GDP growth rate per capita hit 2.9 percent during that period, making up to 3286.6 manat or $4,090," Veliyev said.
He said that the growth of non-oil sector hit 5.2 percent and oil sector 2.7 percent in January-September 2010.
The inflation ratio amounted to 0.9 percent in Azerbaijan in September and 5.2 percent compared to January-September 2009.
"The inflation is expected to increase by 5.5-5.6 percent by late 2010 compared to 2009," Veliyev said.
