Azerbaijan's RoyalBank announced the launch of the RoyalCard fully functioning processing system on the basis of a Compass Plus software package.
RoyalBank's solution will significantly improve operation efficiency and quality of card business programs, including EMV-standard magnetic and chip card issues, as well as the issuance of local cards. In addition, the solution includes a module for monitoring and preventing fraudulent transactions in real time, and interface modules with terminal devices, data preparation and card personalization.
The new processing system's main task is to control th estrategic processes of card business management within the bank, which will facilitate the implementation of plans to significantly increase the card business volume.
The RoyalCard system's capabilities will manage and effectively support multichannel customer service using a variety of devices and communications equipment, including electronic and mobile commerce payments. RoyalCard products provide support for all aspects of the payments business - from usual debit and credit cards to a unique card combination, including the implementation of loyalty programs. RoyalBank was certified for a direct connection to the VISA International international payment system. It is also under the final stage of direct connection to MasterCard Worldwide, JCB and CUP.
"Introducing its own processing center based on a modern integrated solution Compass Plus will ensure control over card business management key management processes within the bank, as well as significantly strengthen our competitive advantages," the bank quoted the bank's Deputy Chairman of the Board Farid Hasanov as saying.
RoyalBank was established on Aug. 2, 1993 as OZ Bank. Subsequently, the bank's name was changed to RoyalBank.
Today, Azerbaijan has four processing center - Azericard, MilliKart, TexKart and KapitalBank.
