The State Service for Insurance Supervision under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance suspended the license issued by the company "Aon Azeri Sıgorta ve Tekrar Sıgorta Brokeri" for the activity of an insurance broker, a statement said.
According to the relevant order of the Ministry of Finance, the license has been suspended since Nov. 2 for six months because the company violated the requirements prescribed by the law.
AON Azeri passed state registration in Azerbaijan in June 1998. The company renewed a license for an insurance brokerage in August 2008.
The Ministry of Finance said that at present, there are five insurance brokers.
