Georgian singer Katie Melua, who lives in the UK, has become a Goodwill ambassador for the the Opel automobile manufacturer's environmentally friendly vehicles.
Opel expressed hope that Melua will become the face of the company at a recent presentation of its latest environmentally friendly vehicle.
Opel decided to work with Melua after studying her charitable activities.
