Within the international cooperation to exchange information and experience in the management of state property, Baku hosted a seminar on "Management of state shares in enterprises - the German experience" with the support of the German Technical Assistance Society GTZ, the State Property Committee of Azerbaijan reported on Wednesday.
At the seminar the project director of GTZ Wulf Schmieder and expert of the Federal Agency for Real Estate in Germany Susan Schumann shared information on the management of stocks and shares owned by the state in Europe, particularly in Germany, organizational and legal forms of enterprises established with participation of the federal state, the experience of corporate governance practices, regulatory mechanism.
An exchange of views was conducted on the possibilities to apply this experience in Azerbaijan. Participants were awarded certificates upon completion of the workshop.
