Azerbaijan to allocate over 60 million manat from state budget for transport sector in 2011

In accordance with the state budget for 2011 approved by the Azerbaijani President, the amount of funds of the target budgetary Fund "Highways" will hit 170 million manat in 2011.

In accordance with the state budget for 2011 approved by the Azerbaijani President, the amount of funds of the target budgetary Fund "Highways" will hit 170 million manat in 2011.

The funds will be formed at the expense of incomes of road tax - 36 million manat, simplification of tax imposed on persons carrying passengers and cargo by vehicles - 10 million manat, excises, applied to imported cars - 53 million manat, customs duty, imposed on imports of vehicles - 51 million manat, the state duties received from issuing licenses, regulating international road transport in Azerbaijan's territory - 10.4 million manat, state duties, annually received from the technical inspection of vehicles, motor transport vehicles, trailers and semitrailers - 9.6 million manat.

Azerbaijan's expenditure on transport sector in 2011 will exceed 60.55 million manat

The state budget allocated more than 2.1 million manat for the Transport Ministry's needs, for the needs of the State Marine Administration - about 1.95 million manat, Civil Aviation Administration - about 835,000 manat, the State Road Transport Service - about 1.51 million manat.
