All 27 members of the European Union approved Sunday an 85 billion euros (112 billion dollars) rescue package to help Ireland overcome its debt crisis, sources close, DPA reported.
An urgently called meeting of EU finance ministers also approved proposals to introduce a permanent mechanism to help eurozone countries that get into financial difficulties.
