Azerbaijani insurance company Meqa Sigorta forecasts a rise in premiums by late 2010 to 300,000 manat, compared to 293,000 in January-November, including premiums of BE& G, the company board chairman Afghan Murtuzayev said today.
According to him, the increases by the company's portfolio is mainly at the expense of these types of insurance, but from next year the company plans to improve and develop such services.
"The company provides services on 24 types of voluntary and five types of mandatory insurance. Given the most popular types of insurance, the company focuses on automobile insurance, property insurance against fire, medical insurance, the insurance of cargo and various types of liability," Murtuzayev said.
Azerbaijani Insurance Company Meqa Sigorta has been operating since October 2010, replacing the BE&G company in the market. With the change in shareholders the company's shares are distributed among the seven physical entities. Its premiums for January-November amounted to 0.29 million manat, with payments of 0.21 million manat.
