Agrobank open joint stock commercial bank will increase its charter capital by 11.201 billion soums, UzDaily.com reported.
Agrobank registered the seventeenth prospectus of emission on 4 February 2011. Center for securities market of Uzbekistan registered the emission.
In line with the prospectus of emission, the bank will issue 9.74 million ordinary shares with par value of 1,150 soums each. Total volume of emission will make up 11.201 billion soums.
The bank is planning to place shares through open subscription among unlimited number of investors. At the same time, the bank will place at least 25% stake through Uzbekistan Stock Exchange.
The bank said that the shares of the emission will be placed on market price, but not less than its par value.
According to the bank, currently charter capital of Agrobank makes up 115 billion soums, which comprises of 100 million shares - 99.5 million ordinary and 50,000 preferential stocks.
Agrobank was created in March 2009 on the base of Pakhta Bank in line with the presidential decree from 30 March 2009.
Currently, the bank is one of the largest banks of Uzbekistan with wide network of branches. The bank has 13 regional branches, 186 divisions and about 720 mini-banks.
