A record 41.04 million people were employed in Germany in the fourth quarter of 2010, data released Thursday by the country's statistics office showed.
The figure is the highest quarterly result since reunification in 1990, and marks an increase of 1 per cent on the same period in 2009, DPA reported.
The services industry, employing more than 30 million people, experienced the biggest job increase. Employment also rose in the construction and production industries.
