The National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support (NFES) under the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry issued favorable loans totaling 402,000 manat to 31 entrepreneurs of the Tovuz and nearby regions, the ministry said.
About 62 new job places will be opened at the expense of these funds. The event was held in Tovuz with the participation of about 300 entrepreneurs of the Ganja-Gazakh region.
Participants got familiarized with the process of construction of the cooling warehouse with a capacity of 1,500 tons by the Premyer company in Tovuz.
In accordance with the previously determined priority areas for preferential financing of projects in the region, the event presented projects on planting vineyards, creation of farm for production of potatoes and greenhouse complex using modern technology.
In 2011, the NFES issued 384 loans amounting to 29.3 million manat. The loans covered 27 major projects, while 24.9 million based on the introduction of new technologies and 357 small projects in the amount of 4.4 million manat.
