The Russian Converse Miles military adn industrial complex is assisting Turkmenistan with organizing the production of building materials from local raw materials, a Turkmen newspaper reported.
The article says prospects of developing Ashgabat and other cities are closely related to the introduction of innovative projects on automated control systems, new energy-saving technologies, the production of energy efficient equipment and materials for industrial
and civil construction.
"In particular, the matter rests in organizing the production of composite insulating materials based on basalt fiber, having versatile physical, mechanical, and chemical properties, durability, high resistance to aggressive environments, vibration," the article said.
Thermal insulation materials used in Turkmenistan are almost entirely imported.
