Iran approves three new foreign investment plans

The Iranian Organization for Investment Economic and Technical Assistance has approved three new foreign investment plans today, Managing Director of Organization for Investment Economic and Technical Assistance Saman Ghasemi was quoted by Mehr News Agency as saying.

"About 3 new foreign investment plans and 8 plans on changing investment permits have been approved," he said.

The plans include foreign investment in housing, pipeline polyethylene fittings production, capital market, tile, sesame oil production.

During this session board members of the Iranian Organization for Investment Economic and Technical Assistance also approved increasing the foreign investment level, extending the foreign investment permit, transferring the foreign investment interest, permitting the registration of foreign investment and transferring the companies' shares.

As a result of approving these plans, more jobs are expected to be created. It will also lead to export growth.
