Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Azerbaijan started creating a data bank on families receiving addressed social aid (ASA), Minister Fizuli Alekperov said in an interview with the official website of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party.
"Our main goal is to attract poor families to active measures on social protection, thereby gradually eliminating their dependence on the ASA, and given the potential of these families, to create conditions for their self-sufficiency. A data bank is created in this regard," said Alekperov
The minister said as of June 1, targeted social aid in Azerbaijan is received by 131,122 families.
"Of them, 51,628 are families with three or more children. The average size of TSA per capita is 23.6 manat, per family - 105.82 manat," said Alekperov.
