Iran launches Middle East biggest industrial textile mill

The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad inaugurated the biggest textile mill in the Middle East, with annual production capacity of 15,000 tons, Mehr News Agency reported.

The mill has been equipped with modern technology from France and has the production capacity of 15,000 tons per year.

The mill produces polyester textile used in radial tires and polyamide, rayon and industrial liners alongside textile belt used in tire and rubber industries.

Value of Kermanshah tire cord complex is estimated at $100 million per year and it's expected to reduce Iran's annual import of textile belt, polyester, radial tires, polyamide and rayon.
