Iran's car imports reduced by 34.5 percent within first four months of current solar year (started on March 20,2011), Fars News Agency quoted the Head of Iran's Customs Administration as reporting.
"The car import during the first four months of current year reduced by 34.5 percent due to lack of demands," he said.
He noted that the importers have no desire to import cars what led to low rate of car import in current year.
According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Iran is the third largest country in the Middle East and Central Asia in terms of exports and imports.
