The industrial goods price index increased by 1.4 percent in July compared to last month and by 26.6 percent compared to July 2010, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said.
The figure increased by 26.6 percent in January-July compared to the same period of last year.
The prices on industrial goods in all areas of the mining industry, as well as the prices in the oil and gas sphere, increased by 1.9 percent per month and 31.1 percent per year.
The prices in the metallurgical industry in July reduced by 3.5 percent, the spinning industry - by 1.5 percent, production of computers and other electronic equipment - by 11.4 percent, rubber and plastic products - by 0.9 percent, chemical industry - by 3.8 percent, manufacturing of electrical equipment - by 5.7 percent, clothing - by 1.1 percent, food products - by 1.3 percent, wood processing and production of wood products - 0.6 percent, finished metal products, except machinery and equipment - by 0.1 percent, furniture - by 2.6 percent.
Prices on machinery and equipment decreased by 1.5 percent, tobacco products - by 4.2 percent, construction materials - by 0.2 percent, leather, leather products and footwear - 0.6 percent,
The prices on paper and cartone production were not changed in July.
Producer prices in the area of water purification and recycling, prices in the production and distribution of electricity, gas and steam have not been changed.
