Kazakhstan and Japan will more effectively use the potential of the Joint Commission of private and public sectors on Kazakh-Japanese economic cooperation in order to enhance economic relations, Kazinform reported.

At today's meeting between Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev and Japanese Ambassador to Kazakhstan Yuzo Harada the sides agreed to hold the next sitting of the commission on 6, October in Astana.

'Strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Japan: cooperation prospects in the field of innovation and industry' will be the topic of the meeting.

Special attention will be paid to industrial diversification through the development of innovative and high technology.

More than 300 Kazakh and Japanese representatives are expected to attend the meeting.
