Iran 's carpet export reached $138 million within first four months of current solar year(started on March20,2011) while Germany and UAE ranks major importers, Mehr News Agency reported quoting Head of Iran national carpet center Fysal Mordasi as saying.
" The statistics indicates during this time Germany and UAE ranks first and second importer of Persian carpet, " he said.
The statistics of Iran customs indicates Japan, Canada, Italy, Brazil, Sweden and Lebanon are other major importers.
Pakistan increases Persian carpet import increased during first four months of current solar year was $700,000 while it's carpet imports in last solar year(ended on March20, 2011) was $10,000.
Iran's carpet export to Afghanistan also increased while the import of Persian carpet in Malaysia reached $3.5 million.
Iran's non-oil exports is predicted to reach $45 billion on current solar year(started on March20,2011).
