According to the National Bank of Georgia, the banking sector's profit amounted to 152.6 million lari ($ 1 = 1.65 lari) in July.
In June, the total profit of banks amounted to 120 million lari.
In July an increase was observed in bank loans. Thus, banks issued loans worth 7.005 billion lari. In June, the figure hit 6.9 billion lari.
