Iran inflation rate to reach 17.2 percent

Iran 's inflation rate predicted an increase of 4.5 percent to 17.2 percent between July 23 and August 22, Econews quoted Governor of the Central Bank of Iran Mahmoud Bahmani as saying.

Iran 's inflation rate predicted an increase of 4.5 percent to 17.2 percent between July 23 and August 22, Econews quoted Governor of the Central Bank of Iran Mahmoud Bahmani as saying.

"The inflation rate would increase by 4.5 percent after cutting subsidies to a maximum 17.2 percent", he said.

The Central Bank of Iran recently issued statistics of Iran's inflation rate for the past twelve months through July, showing 16.3 percent.
