The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) wishes to contribute to the improvement of the investment climate in Tajikistan by engaging a Head of Secretariat of the consultative council on investment climate (the "Head of Secretariat") to establish and maintain policy dialogue at high level between the government, the business community and donors, the EBRD said.

The Head of Secretariat will be required to liaise extensively with the offices of the President and Prime Minister of Tajikistan, as well as the EBRD's Resident Office in Dushanbe. The Head of Secretariat will be assisted by four other local professionals providing legal, economic and documentation management expertise.

The tasks of the Head of Secretariat will include the following: contribute to the functioning of the consultative council on investment climate, and, as necessary, develop and propose an appropriate structure and organization for the Council, review and advise on regulations and institutional structures to be created and membership, maintain consultation with the EBRD and seek the feedback of relevant authorities/bodies, the private sector, as well as international financial institutions and other donor organizations, etc.
