According to preliminary data for the first 9 months of 2011, "AtaSigorta" Insurance Company collected premiums for 4.02 million manta that is by 39.4 percent more compared to the appropriate period of 2010, the company reported on Monday.
The Company paid insurance indemnities at 1.424 million manat that is by 944,000 manat more compared to the appropriate period of 2010.
"AtaSigorta" OJSC has been operating at insurance market since 2004.
"AtaSigorta" provides 27 classes of insurance, 22 of which are voluntary and 5 are compulsory. The company with authorized capital of 4.8 mln AZN was founded by "AtaHolding" OJSC (100%).
The official exchange rate is 0.7869 manat to $1 on Oct. 10.
